making of flesh caffeine
A Little History
Recorded at A&M Studios in Hollywood, CA. The songs were
tracked with Stefan Svensson on drums, and myself on guitars and vocals. I finished up recording and mixing at Shaya Mix LA, with engineer/producer, John Karpowich.
He was a great help with vocal production, mixing, and keeping me jigged up
on high-octane coffee. I know I must have driven him insane. The CD was
mastered by Andrew Garver. Flesh Caffeine was the
final piece of music to be mastered at A&M studios in Hollywood. They
closed the doors for good the following day. I am honored to have been a
part of A&M's musical history. I feel very fortunate to have worked with so
many great people there.
What's Next
Promoting the CD is number one on my list. I'm planning on utilizing the Internet to it's maximum.
Stay tuned for e-zine interviews, live online chats, as well as live Internet radio bits. And of course we hope to see some furture stories in the
guitar magazines. I can't wait to get out there and start squawking again.
There are new opportunities popping up every week. Expanded distribution and video ideas are
also in the works. Yes, I do plan on touring. When? As soon as possible.
Finally, I want to thank you, my fans and friends, for keeping me inspired
during this long and grueling project. I could not have completed it
without your support.
So here it is Flesh Caffeine!
peace,
